I cannot pay the $50 application fee for admission to Portland State. Can you waive or defer this fee?
Unfortunately, we are unable to waive (forgive) the $50 application fee. If you are a prospective undergraduate student you may be eigible to submit the OUS Fee Deferral Form with a paper Application for Undergraduate Admission. If you submit the online application for admission, the $50 application fee must be paid at the time of application.
Please note that the application fee is non-refundable. If you decide after applying and paying the fee that you'd like to cancel your application, we cannot refund the fee.
