Can I bring my pet(s) to University Housing?
The only animals allowed in on-campus housing are fish in a small tank (up to 10 gallons), cats, and service animals that are pre-approved by the Disability Resource Center (DRC).
Cats are only allowed in uncarpeted rooms larger than 200 square feet in Blackstone, King Albert, St Helens, Parkway and Stratford. Two cats are allowed in uncarpeted rooms that are at least 500 square feet in the buildings listed above. You must register your cat or service animal before arriving on campus, and your student account will be charged a $50 non-refundable cleaning fee (cats only).
Fish do not require registration or the cleaning fee.
