Are there places I can climb locally? (Climbing Center)
Yes. Drop by the ASRC Climbing Center during staffed hours or come see us at the Outdoor Program office (SW 5th and Harrison) and we'll point you in the right direction, whether you want to climb in a local Portland gym, or prefer to head out to the crags in the Gorge, near Mt. Hood or way out east. We strongly recommend that you get proper training before climbing outdoors. The ODP offers guided climbing trips, technical seminars and basic belay and movement classes.
