- New, first year college students who are age 19 or younger at the date the Contract begins are only eligible to live in the First Year Experience (FYE) program in Broadway and Ondine or in the Global Village Living Learning Community in Stephen Epler Hall. New, first year college students age 20 or older are welcome to live in either the First Year Experience (FYE) program in Broadway and Ondine or in the Global Village Living Learning Community in Stephen Epler Hall. These students must be registered for and complete a minimum of eight (8) credit hours of coursework per academic term.
- Undergraduate students, including those living in FYE locations, must be registered for and complete a minimum of eight (8) credit hours of coursework per term in each of the three, consecutive terms of the academic year (Fall, Winter, Spring).
- Graduate students must be registered for and complete a minimum of four (4) credit hours
of coursework per term in each of the three, consecutive terms of the
academic year (Fall, Winter, Spring).
- Residents who maintain continued occupancy in University Housing for Spring and Fall terms are not required to be enrolled during the Summer term in order to continue living in University Housing. Residents who initially move into University Housing during the Summer term are required to meet the minimum credit requirements listed above.
The University will recognize dual enrollment program credit hours or enrollment at Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU). PSU Housing requires that students participating in dual enrollment programs be registered for at least eight (8) credit hours at PSU each term.
