FAQ: When do the credits I earn as a co-admitted student transfer to Portland State?

When you are admitted to Portland State as a co-admitted student, you receive an initial evaluation of your transfer credits. Thereafter, additional credits you earn at the community college are incorporated into an updated evaluation.

  • If you are co-admitted at Chemeketa Community College or Portland Community College, your grades are automatically sent to Portland State after each term.
  • If you are co-admitted at Clackamas Community College or Mt. Hood Community College, you must request that the college send your transcript to Portland State after each term.
Updates to your transfer evaluation take 4-8 weeks. If you need an update sooner (for pre-requisite or professional school admission, for example), please contact Olivia Alcaire (503-725-5581) for assistance.

Transfer evaluations are viewable online using the DARS feature of the PSU Student Information System.
