A recreational club is a recognized student organization formed by students with a common interest in a recreational activity that exists to promote, develop interest, and/or compete in that particular activity.  Clubs may be instructional, recreational, competitive, or any combination thereof.  Characterized by being student-initiated and student-managed, the basic structure of clubs allow members numerous opportunities for leadership and decision-making.
