FAQ: What are the policies for cancelling my contract before I check-in?

If you need to cancel your contract prior to check-in and wish to receive a full refund of your advance payment; your written, faxed, or emailed notice of cancellation must be received by the University Housing Office within 3 days of the date the Assignment Notification was sent.

If you miss the deadline to cancel and receive a refund of the $150 Advance Payment,  your cancellation must be received by the following dates in order to be released from the University Housing contract and subsequent University Housing charges(while forfeiting the $150 Advance Payment) :

a) Contracts that begin at Fall Term: August 31 (100% refund except Application Fee)

b) Contracts that begin at Winter Term: December 21 (100% refund except Application Fee)*

c) Contracts that begin at Spring Term: March 17 (100% refund except Application Fee)*
