FAQ: How do I sign up for housing?

Once you have been formally admitted to PSU, you can complete a Housing contract online. You must have your 9-digit PSU student ID number to submit the contract. You receive this number when you are admitted to PSU. We will not accept contracts without this number and we cannot accept your social security number. Please review the PSU University Housing Contract Terms and Conditions before completing the University Housing contract; this will help you to decide if University Housing is right for you.

New First Year Students and Transfer Students: You can submit your housing contract online after you have been admitted to PSU. When you submit your contract you’ll be required to submit a payment of $50 (the contract processing fee) and a payment of $150 (the advance payment) with a credit card. If you do not have a credit card you send a request for a paper contract to housing@pdx.edu. In the subject line of your email, please include the term you wish to move in for (Spring, Summer, Fall) and "Paper Contract Request." For example, "Fall Paper Contract Request." If you have further inquiries or requests, please send a separate email, the paper contract response is automatic and your requests may not be seen.
