FAQ: What if I have a low grade point average?
To be considered for regular admission by Portland State University applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 in all undergraduate courses or a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 in all graduate courses (a minimum of 12 credits). Students with an undergraduate GPA below 2.75 can be considered for conditional admission. The conditions of admission usually require the student to maintain a 3.0 GPA or above for the first 12 credits of his/her graduate program. Students failing to meet this condition will be dropped from the program.
