FAQ: Can I use accrued leave while I am on Family Medical Leave?

Yes. In fact, you are required to use any accrued leave you have available, including sick, vacation and personal leave. You are not required to use compensatory leave but you may. You will be required to follow the normal reporting procedures in your department to record leave time used (reported on the timesheet or leave roster).
