ANNUAL CALENDAR: FACULTY ELECTIONS & COMMITTEE PREFERENCE SURVEY
Feb. 8 OIRP provides the Secretary to the Faculty with the “raw” list of current year full-time faculty, including random ID numbers.
Feb. 15 Verification of Faculty Status memorandums mailed to Academic Deans and Vice Presidents
Mar. 4 Deadline (1st Mon in March, V.,1.,2.,1) : Faculty Verification Memos returned
Mar. 11 Steering Committee ratifies Divisional Representation as provided by the Secretary to the Faculty (2nd Monday of the month)
Mar. 13 Opt In Survey to Certified Faculty except Ex officio, serving or ineligible. (4 weeks prior to election)
*Mar. 18 Faculty Committee Preference Survey to Certified Faculty except Ex officio.
Apr. 2 Deadline: Opt In Survey (1st week of Spring term; 2 wks before election)
*Apr. 3 Deadline: Faculty Committee Preference Survey
*Apr. 4 Faculty Committee Preference Survey results forwarded to Sec to the Faculty (1st week of Spring term)
Apr. 16 ELECTRONIC Ballots mailed (by division) by to Secretary to the Faculty
April 30 Ballots close; due to OIRP by 5pm?
May 2 Runoff Ballots mailed by the Secretary to the Faculty (“Last Monday in April,” V., 2.,3)
May 9 Runoff Ballot Due
May 13 Tallies to Secretary to the Faculty before Steering Comm. Mtg. (15:00 2nd Monday)
May 14 Election results, including AC & IFS, to Faculty Governance Web page and if Runoff Election, Ballot #3 Mailed & New Senators
added to Senate mail and email lists.
May 21 Runoff Election (Ballot #3) Due
May 22 OIRP Tally of Runoff Elections (Ballot #3) to Secretary to the Faculty
Additional new Senators notified and requested to attend June Senate meeting.
Jun 3 FACULTY SENATE: Election of Officers for the new Senate. Results sent to PSU Currently.
