What happens if I drop a Center for Executive and Professional Education course?

Noncredit refund: Notification of withdrawal or drop must be given, and requests for refunds for noncredit courses must be received, by midnight on the day of the first class session. Refunds are not given after this time. Withdrawal or drop must be requested via the student portal, by the student. Please login in to the student portal and select the drop button. If the drop button does not appear on your enrollment history, please email to learn@pdx.edu.

Please allow four to six weeks for processing.

100% refund:            Midnight, the first day of class

0% refund:                12:01 a.m. after the first day of class

Note: If you pay the regular rate for a class and switch to a later section with an early bird discount, the early bird discount will not apply. If you receive a bundle discount (e.g., signed up for six classes at once and received a 10% discount) and drop a class, the rates for remaining classes will switch to the regular rate, which will be reflected in the total amount of any refund.

Credit refund: Refund of the credit portion of the fee is based on the Portland State University fee refund schedule. For questions on refunds for credit courses, please call our Office of Admission, Registration & Records at 503-725-4832, Please allow four to six weeks for refund processing.
