Where: PSU Urban Center Parson Gallery (room 212) - the Urban Center is between SW 5th and 6th Avenues and SW Mill and Montgomery Streets

Why: TriMet, the area transit provider, is facing a multi-million dollar budget shortfall beginning in 2013. To make up the gap they are proposing some service reductions on bus and MAX, elimination of the Free Rail Zone, and increased fares. Before any steps are finalized TriMet employees will be at PSU to discuss the proposals with student and employees. Stop by this open house any time between 1:00-2:00pm to learn more about the options and provide your feedback.
