ABSTRACT: To finalize the design of the next large household and activity survey in Oregon, a pilot test is currently underway to test and evaluate the pros and cons of three survey methods: (1) Computer-aided telephone interview (CATI) and Diary only, (2) CATI/ Diary with Person-Based GPS for validation, and (3) GPS only. This presentation will introduce the pilot test design, provide information about implementation of the three methods, and present some preliminary findings.
