Explore the world this summer, right here in Portland, with Wednesday lectures featuring visiting professors who have come from around the world to teach courses at PSU as part of Summer Session 2006.

Brian Mokopakgosi, Botswana - "The Transfer of Power in Botswana: Implications for Southern Africa"
Brian Mokopakgosi earned his doctorate in African History from the University of London. He is a professor of History at the University of Botswana, where he has also served as Dean of Humanities and Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs. His ongoing research is focused on the decolonization and the transfer of power in Botswana.
