WHAT: This class is designed to teach the fundamentals of whitewater river safety and rescue. The class will be comprised of classroom lecture, hands-on study, and on-water and off-water scenarios. Students completing this seminar will have an understanding of how to deal with difficult situations with little or no equipment. It is not a class that will teach you how to paddle. People taking this class should come into it with strong class II paddling skills in one water craft or another.
