This week-long enrichment camp is designed to help youth experience the concept "sustainability" when put into action. For ages
The week begins with a trip to canoe the Columbia Slough in order to understand a local ecosystem. During the week we'll explore climate change, build a micro-hydro generator, investigate sustainable food products, calculate ecological footprints, see how local businesses reduce their environmental impacts. We'll also give back to our community by helping out on a local farm or removing invasive species from the Columbia Slough.
