Study Abroad 101: How to Incorporate an International Experience into your Academic Career at PSU
Thursday, January 29, 2009 - 7:00pm to Thursday, January 29, 2009 - 8:00pm
In today's global world, it is imperative that we learn
about other belief systems, peoples, cultures, and languages. As an
undergraduate student at PSU, you have the opportunity to live and study abroad
for as short as a few weeks or as long as a full year. By studying and
living in another country, you'll have an opportunity to explore and become
familiar with a different culture. There are many programs available to
PSU students. How do you select the right one? After you've
selected the program for you, how do you cover the cost? Is there a
program that offers courses in your major? Are there programs available
for students with no second language experience? These are just some of
the topics that will be covered during this workshop. This session is
appropriate for undergraduate level students.
