Location: The Women’s Resource Center.
As contemporary society re-thinks what is "sustainable," common sense reveals that individuals from Africa and most of the Indigenous world have been denied an equitable access to power, health, wealth, education, and freedom, and that the wealth of those in power has risen through the oppression of those without. This presentation focuses on how race and sustainability must be addressed at their crossroads in order to have a multivocal and bioregionally informed approach to the future of life on planet earth.
