WHAT: Jeff Goebel will share the work he did in villages of Mali, West Africa, addressing the social weak link over a four-year time period. The social weak link answers the question "What is the social obstacle or log jam that is preventing progress toward a desired outcome?" By answering and addressing this issue, communities can move forward toward a social, economic, and ecologically sustainable future.
Jeff Goebel owns an international consulting business, focusing on conflict resolution and sustainability planning. He is also a doctoral student in the Public Administration program at PSU. Jeff has worked 17 years in the federal government, and 17 years with various private, non-profit, and other public entities.
