Social Sustainability Colloquium: Corporate Social Responsibility, the Soul of Capitalism & the Practical Hope for Sustainability
Friday, February 5, 2010 - 1:00pm to Friday, February 5, 2010 - 3:00pm

WHAT: Using Intel Corporation as a "poster child" we argue that, though self-interested, corporate sustainability is not wholly selfish, and indeed the practical result of corporations as rational beings is that they are a key to the success of "weak sustainability." This continues the conversation begun in the fall, exploring the ethic of accountability and the role of business in sustainability. Facilitated by Jesse Dillard, Professor, Retzlaff Chair
in Accounting, and David Layzell, both of PSU's School of Business Administration.

WHEN: Friday, Feb 5, 1 to 3 p.m.

WHERE: 660 ARSC Building
