About the facilitator:
Tamara Wallace is a Portland activist and cultural worker, and co-founder of the project TheaterChange/TeatroCambio. She has studied and practiced social justice theater since 2000, and has worked with many social justice organizations, including VOZ Day Laborer Education Project, where she helped to develop the group Teatro Popular Jornalero. Internationally, she has traveled and trained with the theater brigades of the MST, Brazil's Landless Movement, as they used theater to mobilize for their National March for Land Reform in 2004.
