Speaker: Dr. Ted Bonar, Clincial Psychologist and Curriculum Content Coordinator for the Center for Deployment Psychology
Intended Audience: PSU staff and faculty, mental health providers, and graduate students in social work, counseling, and psychology programs.
Learn about this core competency program designed to address cultural and clinical concerns of service members and veterans on a university campus. The morning portion of the program (8:30 a.m. to Noon) presents a comprehensive overview of the experience of military connected individuals, and includes day-to-day challenges and treatment of behavioral health concerns on campus. The afternoon (1-5 p.m.) is targeted to mental health clinicians and will focus on clinical concerns and treatment for military connected individuals on campus.
