PSU Professor Sue Taylor: Eva Hesse Grieving through Sculpture

WHAT: Professor Sue Taylor received her B.A. in art history from Roosevelt University, and her M.A. and Ph.D., also in art history, from the University of Chicago. Before joining the faculty at PSU, she served as Curator of Prints and Drawings at the Milwaukee Art Museum, and as Associate Curator at the David and Alfred Smart Museum at the University of Chicago. Formerly critic for the Chicago Sun-Times, Dr. Taylor is corresponding editor for Art in America and has authored numerous articles, catalogue essays, and book reviews; her book on Surrealist Hans Bellmer was released by MIT Press in 2000. For RAPSU, she will discuss the implications of the Holocaust in the abstract sculpture of Eva Hesse.
