The Badminton Club at Portland State University invites you to the PSU 2005 Badminton Intramural Tournament!!

This event is FREE for everyone!

Schedule:

• Friday, May 20, 2005 at 6:15pm (players check in at 6pm)
• Sunday, May 22, 2005 at 6.15pm (players check in at 6pm)
• Note: Specific match schedule will be e-mailed to players on May 15.

How to register:

Registration is open from Friday, April 27 until Monday, May 8 at 3pm. You need to be Portland State University students or faculty to participate in this tournament. Go to Peter Stott on the first floor, there will be a poster on the board above the Club mail box next to the office. Write your name, e-mail and phone number (you can e-mail me your phone number) and write down in which category you would like to play in. Registrations forms will be e-mailed to you to fill up.

Categories:

• Single (men, women)
• Double (men, mixed) - Players without a partner will be paired up randomly at the discretion of the tournament officials.

Rules and Equipment:

• Nylon birdie will be provided prior to match.
• Bring your own racquet or check one out from locker room.
• Proper attire is absolutely required for play.
• Warm-up prior to a match is limited to 2 minutes.
• Should there be a conflict, please consult with tournament officials.
• Players not ready to play 5 minutes after the match is scheduled will be forfeited.
