Please join the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) for a lecture and discussion titled "Private Models, Public Costs.”
Gary Rhoades, National AAUP General Secretary and co-author of “Academic Capitalism and the New Economy: Markets, State, and Higher Education" will speak on the timely topic of academic capitalism affecting universities across the nation today. The lecture is the second of three lectures in a series titled “Outlook Hazy: Does Public Higher Education have a Future in Oregon?” that address the challenges public universities are facing.
