The annual Oregon Public Health Workforce Development Conference provides short-term, intensive educational opportunities for health professionals and features expert faculty from the University of Washington School of Public Health and the Northwest Center for Public Health Practice, as well as training and education staff from the Oregon Division of Public Health. This three-day event will include a daily group session, including a closing session on cross-cultural learning and sharing about Oregon tribes, and discussions of the key issues for public health and workforce development. In addition, participants will select two of the following four multi-day courses:
- Intermediate Epidemiologic Concepts and Methods
- Leadership Development: Skills, Styles and Attitudes
- Program Planning and Evaluation
- Building Effective Teams and Cross Agency Collaboration
