The Nohad A. Toulan School of Urban Studies and Planning at Portland State University invites you to attend an open house to introduce you to our graduate programs.
When? Saturday, October 22, 10:00 am - 3 pm, lunch included.
Where? The 2nd floor Gallery of the Urban Center Building, home to Portland State's College of Urban and Public Affairs (corner of SW 6th and SW Mill in downtown Portland on the Portland State campus).
What? We'll provide an overview of our graduate programs, a chance for you to meet students, faculty and alums, information about careers in planning and urban studies, a tour of our building, and information about applying, admissions, and financial aid.

The mission of the Nohad A. Toulan School of Urban Studies and Planning is to assist in the development of healthy communities through an interdisciplinary program of teaching, research and public service. Faculty and students engage the intellectual, policy and practice aspects of urban studies and planning from the local to the international levels and actively participate in the analysis, development and dissemination of the innovations for which Portland and the Pacific Northwest are known.
The School offers three graduate degrees:
Master of Urban and Regional Planning, a 2-year, fully accredited professional degree in urban and regional planning.
Master of Urban Studies, a 2-year predoctoral degree for those considering either a career in policy analysis and research or continuing on for a doctorate at a later date.
Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Urban Studies, a doctoral degree for those either seeking a scholarly career or simply wanting to develop an understanding of a field in depth through original research.
