Event: Jeff Hammarlund will present: "The Northwest Energy Macroproblem and the Columbia River"

Hammarlund is a Senior Research Fellow and Adjunct Associate Professor in the Mark O. Hatfield School of Government, Department of Economics, and Executive Leadership Institute, Portland State University. He has taught numerous short courses on Columbia River policy issues to federal agencies (BPA, US Army Corps of Engineers, Environmental Protection Agency, NOAA Fisheries, US Fish and Wildlife), Indian tribes (Warm Springs, Umatilla, Nez Perce, and Yakama), and Columbia River Intertribal Fish Commission. Working with former Senator Mark Hatfield, he has organized a series of major regional conferences on the future of the Columbia River.
