Alexa Stiller, a PhD candidate at the University of Hanover, will be at PSU to give a lunchtime lecture on the topic: "A New Order Through Ethnic Cleansing: The Policy of the SS in the Annexed Territories during WWII."

Ms. Stiller will discuss findings from her dissertation project, "The 'Volkstumspolitik' of the SS, 1939-1945." Her research focuses on the RKVD's leading role in charting and carrying out Nazi racial policy in Western Poland, Alsace-Lorraine, and Slovenia. She also will explore the RuSHA Case of the Nuremberg Subsequent Proceedings. Her discussion will reveal a deeper understanding of the 'Final Solution' and its relation to the Germanization of living space and the National Socialist "new order."
