Congdons new version of "The Imaginary Invalid" is a prickly adaptation
that performs some clever surgery on Molières original -- a little nip
here, a little tuck there. The result is a gassy comedy that will leave
you with doubts about your own health care regimen.

irreverent satire on the world of medicine - the questionable cures and
costs - is a whirl of romantic triangles, double entendres and mistaken
identities. Constance Congdon gives this Molière classic a double dose
of devilishness sure to cure whatever ails you with a laugh.
