"A Mathematical Model of Bone Remodeling at the Cellular Level"

Abstract:  In this talk, we quickly review the physiological process
of bone remodeling and some key characteristics of the process at the
cellular level. We then construct a mathematical model which accounts
for some of the observed features. We describe the (difficult) process
of parameter estimation, and present some computational results. We
end by discussing extensions to models of cancer metastasis in bone
