Susan Rowland, Professor of English and Jungian Studies, is speaking at PSU on Monday, 3-4 pm, November 3, SMU 238. Her topic is "Jung and Critical Theory: New Approaches to Myth and Eco-Criticism." There will be refreshments following her talk. Sponsored by the Department of English.

She is Professor of English and Jungian Studies at the University of Greenwich, UK. Her recent books are Jung as a Writer (Routledge, 2005); Jung: A Feminist Revision (Polity, 2002); From Agatha Christie to Ruth Pendell (Palgrave, 2001); C.G. Jung and Critical Theory (Palgrave, 1999); and Jung (Oneworld, forthcoming 2009). Her current research is to bring Jung into literary theory in the poststructuralist, post-Lacanian and new historical context. She also has an essay on Jung and Derrida published in The Idea of the Numinous, editors Tracy and Casement (Routledge 2006).
