The 21st Century workplace is one that has moved away from the career caretaker model—where individuals give time and talent to an employer in exchange for the security of health insurance and a paycheck—to a career entrepreneur and mobile talent model where we have to manage our own career trajectory and traditional workplace security.
This session will explore the steps involved in managing personal and professional talent, transitioning into encore careers and, intentional volunteerism (possibly with an eye toward employment), and making substantive community impact throughout the process.
