Poverty Institute 
Monday and Tuesday, August 1-2
Cost: $349; $399 w/CEU 

This intensive two-day Poverty Institute provides a grounded understanding of how we have come to our current understanding of poverty and what we can do to more effectively assist people in moving out and staying out of poverty. Dr. Donna Beegle uses role-play and activities to present core concepts. She'll provide engaging, meaningful, concrete strategies and materials for immediate use to make a real difference for those you serve. The Poverty Institute is designed for professionals from the fields of justice, education, health, and social service. Individuals from faith-based and community organizations will also gain skills and tools needed to change lives in their community.

 

Coaching Institute
Thursday and Friday, August 4-5
Cost: $695

This intensive two-day Coaching institute will provide participants with the “how to” education and tools for assisting their organization to break poverty barriers. Poverty Coaches are certified to conduct Poverty 101 and Communicating and Working More Effectively training sessions to their organizations. Coaches receive: Donna Beegle’s two-hour, five session, in-service training DVD and companion Action Approach guidebook (valued at $449); participation in two future webinars with Dr. Beegle; Poverty 101 and Communication powerpoint templates; handouts for use in your organization; quarterly newsletter, and a two-year renewable Poverty Coaching certificate. Pre-requisite: Participants must have completed one of the following: • Poverty 101 online course • Attended a two-day Poverty Institute
