"Green Engineering: Environmental Education in Bosnia and Herzegovina"

Presented by Dr. Azra Jaganjac, University of Sarajevo

Dr. Azra Jaganjac is a distinguished professor of environmental sciences at the University of Sarajevo, a 2008-09 Fulbright recipient, and one of the few experts on green engineering in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is dedicated to improving environmental conditions in her country and is very active in leading initiatives towards education reform. Dr. Jaganjac is currently in the United States as a Fulbright Scholar where she has been hosted by ColoradoStateUniversity - Fort Collins and, more recently, by California Polytechnic and StateUniversity - San Luis Obispo. She is researching ways to incorporate green engineering into her university curriculum and to raise awareness about environmental issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
