Receive 6 Graduate, Capstone, or Undergraduate Elective Credits
7 Study then Travel to Nicaragua
7 Serve on projects such as health education, community and micro-enterprise development in service with older adults
7 Learn about issues in international aging and health
7 Class will meet on Friday afternoons, 4-6 pm, mid-Winter through Spring Term
7 Travel will be for 2 weeks, mid-June to early July
7 For students with diverse interests: gerontology, public health, urban studies, social work, sociology, engineering, architecture, economics, others!
7 Spanish language proficiency beneficial
7 Some financial aid and scholarships are available; non-PSU students welcome; tuition free except for Capstone students
