Come and commemorate the first amendment with an intimate discussion with award-winning
scholar, lawyer and freedom of speech expert John Frohnmayer. Find out the
importance of this fundamental right, and the politics surrounding it.
Frohnmayer gained national attention when he was unjustly fired by George H.W. Bush from his post as Chairman of the National Endowment for the Arts for defending the First Amendment rights of artists. He has also written two books on the subject matter.
