Portland State's Friends of History will mark the 35th anniversary of the Kent State shooting in a panel "Vietnam War Protest: A Model for Today's Activists?" The forum offers a strategic assessment of the antiwar legacy from several perspectives. Panelists include Oregonian columnist David Sarasohn; author and progressive activist Elinor Langer; Portland State history professor David A. Horowitz; and Dory Hylton, a speech communications specialist with expertise on the PSU Student strike of 1970.
