Food, Fight Feminism: Women of Color Transforming Rape Culture

Monday, March 3rd from 12 to 1:30 p.m.
Multicultural Center (Smith 228)

Join us for an interactive talk and workshop, led by Lisa Factora-Borchers, feminist activist and editor of the recently published anthology "Dear Sister: Letters from Survivors of Sexual Violence." Based on her anthology of over 50 survivors and allies, we’ll discuss the current intersection of sexual violence, feminism, race and how everyday acts of sustainable activism can change the world.

Come for lunch and conversation! This event is free, no tickets or RSVP required. For more information contact Jessica at jamo@pdx.edu.

For more information on the anthology, visit AK Press: http://www.akpress.org/dear-sister.html, the book's blog: http://dearsisteranthology.com/, or find the anthology on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/dearsisterantho.

Sponsored by Multicultural Center at Portland State University and the PSU Women's Resource Center, with additional support from PSU Students for Unity.
