The Portland State University Institute for Asian Studies is pleased to partner with the dedicated volunteers of the Portland LanSu Chinese Garden to present an on-going monthly program
- First Saturday: an East Asian Program Series -
This series features lectures on the gardens, architecture, art and historical culture of China and East Asia and showcases connections with the Pacific NW.
This year's theme is Windows into Beauty and Meaning.
DATE: Every first Saturday of the month. | TIME: 9:30 - 11:00am
Lectures are free and open to public.

Saturday, January 7, 9:30-11:00am | Location A celebration of reunion with friends and family with a 9-course New York brunch at Golden Horse Restaurant, 19$ per person.
Saturday, February 4, 9:30-11:00am | Location: PSU College of Urban Affairs Bldg, Rm250*

Ned Jaquith, owner of Bamboo Garden, will discuss the unique bamboo collection in the Lan Su Chinese Garden.
