Jennifer L. Pozner is the founder of Women In Media & News (WIMN), an organization that aims to increase women's involvement in the public discourse regarding media analysis, education, advocacy and reform.

When: Tuesday, February 24th, 2009
Where: PSU Smith Memorial Student Union Ballroom, 3rd floor (1825 SW Broadway)
Time: Doors open at 6:00 pm, Lecture begins at 7:00 pm
Cost: $8 advance / $10 at the door for general admission; $7 student advance / $9 at the door w/ID

Background:
Pozner is a successful journalist, editor, educator, media critic, public speaker and leader in the movement of feminist-focused media literacy. Her essays and columns have been published in a vast array of news and pop culture media outlets, such as Bitch magazine, and she has been a guest on a variety of shows, including The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
