CNRG Brown Bag Lunch Training
The Effective Nonprofit Job Search

Tuesday, December 11, noon - 1:30 pm
622 SE Grand Ave., Portland

CNRG invites you to participate in a free brown bag lunch training! We are excited to connect you with valuable resources that will allow you to learn, grow and expand your knowledge.

This event is designed to help you develop a clear picture of your unique passions, strengths and skills and translate them into a powerful message to nonprofit employers. Using tools from the Idealist Guide to Nonprofit Careers by Steven Pascal-Joiner and Meg Busse, a panel of three nonprofit career professionals will help you:

  1. Better understand your professional self;
  2. Craft your unique message;
  3. Know what opportunities are right for you; and
  4. Energize your job search.
The panel will include Kelley Carmichael, Psy.D., life and career transitions counselor; Steven Pascal-Joiner, mid-career transitions coordinator for Action Without Borders and's nonprofit careers and partnerships team; and Karen Shimada, program manager for Life by Design NW.

This event is free for the first 65 CNRG members (first-come, first-served) that RSVP to and include: "The Effective Nonprofit Job Search" in the subject line of their e-mail. Please note: Do not RSVP co-workers or friends for this event. They must RSVP individually.
