We are animals who must eat, but should we eat animals? If we "eating animals" are to be sustainable, is eating animals sustainable? Do eating animals need to eat animals who eat?

This roundtable assembles a diverse group of experts from the fields of philosophy, law, and gastronomy for a lively discussion of what is increasingly being recognized as one of the most vexing set of issues of our time.

Smith Memorial Student Union, Room 238 (1825 S.W. Broadway, Portland, OR)
Free and open to the public.

Sponsored by PSU's Portland Center for Public Humanities.
