Come honor Economics Professor Eban Goodstein on the eve of his departure from Lewis and Clark to Bard College in new York. We'll learn about Eban, how he created two national teach-ins on global warming, involving more than 2500 institutions nationwide, and the physical and social science, media and policy concerns surrounding climate change.
Richard Brenne has been conducting these discussions around the nation with humor, high energy and sound scholarship. In addition to the hour discussion, there will be several brief testimonials, questions, answers and a discussion involving the audience, which will include many of Oregon's climate change experts. This conversation is designed to kick off a series at PSU titled "The Anthropocene Concerns." You can learn more by attending and e-mailing Richard Brenne at firstname.lastname@example.org.
