Transit travel time reliability is affected by many factors but mainly by demand factors, traffic signals and roadway conditions. Transit agencies have implemented strategies such as transit signal priority (TSP) to improve transit travel time reliability. However, there have been no studies of the performance of TSP systems integrating traffic, signal, and TSP data. This research provides novel methodologies to quantify the impacts of intersection signal delay and evaluate the performance of TSP systems.
