For over a decade, the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences has presented the John Eliot Allen Award to faculty for outstanding work in teaching, based on the nominations and experiences of numerous students. Each year in preparation for the awards, Scott Burns has led the effort to meet with students and hear about the impact of professors as educators, researchers, and mentors. In this lively and interactive session, Scott will share what he has learned from hundreds of students about excellent teaching in CLAS
