"Can We Solve the Climate Problem? Should We Even Try?" lecture by Philip Mote

WHAT: "Can We Solve the Climate Problem? Should We Even Try?", a lecture by Dr. Philip Mote, director of the Oregon Climate Change Research Institute at Oregon State University and leading scientist on the impacts of climate change. Mote will give the keynote address of the "Making Choices: Sustainability in a World of Conflicting Values" conference, to be held at Portland State University July 21-25, 2010, hosted by the PSU-based Society for Values in Higher Education.

WHEN: Thursday, July 22, 7 to 8:30 p.m.

WHERE: 355 Smith Union

Admission to the Mote presentation is free. Registration for the conference is $50 for Portland residents.
