Through a community partnership with the Department of History, a unique and exciting public symposium will be held in the
Smith Ballroom on Saturday August 15th. The Cambodian American Community of Oregon (CACO) is holding a day-long event on campus that highlights a documentary film based on oral histories with genocide survivors of the Khmer Rouge regime. In addition, the day features panels, speakers, and testimony from a range of participants in (and observers of) Cambodian history and diaspora/immigration to the U.S.
