PSU Transportation & Parking Services hosts a free continental breakfast
the first Thursday of each month for folks who commute to PSU by bicycle.
To celebrate and encourage participation in the 2009 Bike to Campus Challenge,
FREE Biker Breakfast will be EVERY Thursday in May!!
The purpose of the event is to celebrate & encourage self-propelled commuting and to bring PSU bike riders together to mingle, network, and discuss current issues and/or events. The event is open to all PSU students, staff, and faculty who commute by bicycle.
The Bike to Campus Challenge is an annual month-long event promoting bicycling amongst students as a means of getting to and from PSU. This event also seeks to draw attention to the health, environmental, and sustainability benefits of choosing the bicycle as a method of transportation, especially for short trips. These benefits, including carbon and pollutant reduction, will be calculated as part of the Bike to Campus Challenge to demonstrate what a powerful impact can be made by our altering our transportation choices.
Ride your bike to campus, then log your trips online at www.biketocampus.org! Got a long commute? Combine your bike ride with transit! These trips count, too!
